Cleobury Country Lodges are an ideal base for golfers and non-golfers who want a truly memorable self-catering holiday, with country views and the clubhouse only a 2-minute walk away. We have four lodges, located by the entrance to Cleobury Mortimer Golf Club.
Each lodge is single storey sleeps up to 4 people in 2 En suite (showers) bedrooms, with level access throughout.

The nearest bus stop is at the junction of the A4117 and the B4363 about 1200m from the lodges – ask the driver for the stop at mawley farm. There is a shelter with seating. All buses can accommodate one wheelchair. Buses from Kidderminster and Ludlow take approximately 40mins. The No.92 bus runs every 60mins Monday – Saturday and less on Sundays. Bus times can vary, for further details see the bus operator’s website www.redbus.co.uk. There are train stations at both Ludlow and Kidderminster.
Car access is very good with parking on both sides of the lodge. One side offers level access with no steps directly onto the decking area at the front of each lodge. The nearest shops are in Cleobury Mortimer 2 miles away, welcome packs of food essentials are available on request and you can arrange for supermarket deliveries on the day of arrival ~ please check delivery times and which lodge you are staying in.
The key can be collected from the golf club 150m away. If you are unable to come into the office we can arrange to either bring the key out to you in the car park, or if possible meet you at the lodge.
Parking is available for 2 cars either side of the lodge with a tarmac surface this area is well lit at night by motion sensor lights.
The front door is 750mm/29.5ins wide.
All access doors have a low threshold but no grab handle. Light switches are near to doors and floor is non slip laminate in lounge and kitchen area and short pile carpet in bedrooms and storage area.
The sitting room/lounge is situated on the ground floor with level entry from the outside decking area. The door opening to the lounge is 750mm/29.5ins wide double this if both patio doors are opened. The room has a mixture of seating with sofas and dining chairs with non-feather cushions together with a low coffee table.Furniture can be moved.There is a widescreen digital television with remote control, subtitles, freeview and a DVD player.
Lighting is natural daylight and by night levels are controlled with overhead lighting used as well as table lamps around the room.
Flooring is wood laminate, with under floor heating Lighting is natural daylight with 2 table lamps.
The door openings to the dining area from the kitchen are 750mm/29.5ins wide. Dining area is part of open plan lounge.
The dining table (moveable side to side) has legs on each corner, 650mm/25.5ins from floor to lowest point of table (underspace) and is 800mm/31.5ins high.
There is free space around the table.

Lighting is natural daylight with wall lighting and table lamps around the room.
The kitchen is a galley type situated on the ground floor with step free, level access from the hallway and the dining area.
The door openings to the kitchen from the dining area are 750mm/29.5ins wide.
The door of the oven drops down and the handle is 950mm/37.4ins above the floor. The hob is 930mm/36.6ins above the floor.
Worktop and sink are 930mm/36.6ins above the floor. Fridge available, highest shelf in fridge 870mm/34.25ins.
Glasses and crockery can be moved from wall cupboards to lower cupboards, if required, please request this when booking.
Large cutlery and utensils, and cordless kettle rotating 360.
The kitchen is evenly lit with halogen spotlights above work surfaces.
Flooring is laminate.
There are two bedrooms each with a zip link double bed, with step free level access from the front door and hallway and lounge.
The door to the ground floor bedroom is 800mm/31.5ins wide.
Furniture can be easily removed or rearranged in the bedroom.
The height of all beds from the top of the mattress to the floor is 450mm/17.7ins.
Lighting is natural daylight and at night overhead lighting can be controlled by a dimmer switch. Bedside lamps are also in each room.
Both bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom, which has the following:

Toilet 400mm/15.7ins high.
Wash basin 800mm/31.5ins high.
Well lit with overhead lights and a fluorescent light over mirror.
Non-slip laminate or tile flooring.
En suite rooms are fairly narrow and not suitable for wheelchair use.
The utility room is accessed just off the lounge or from an outside door.
The door opening is 750mm/29.5ins wide.
There is a standard size front-loading washing machine. There is an electric clothes airer.
A single ceiling light lights the room. Flooring is short pile carpet
There is a private garden area to the front and rear of each property, the decking area has a table and four aluminum chairs.
Assistance dogs are welcome by prior arrangement. All areas in the lodge have good colour contrast between the floor, doors and walls.
The mobile phone reception can be poor.
The nearest General Hospital with an A&E unit and walk in NHS is 11 miles away in Kiddermister and the nearest Doctor’s surgery is 2 miles away in Cleobury Mortimer. Further information is in the welcome folder.
